Meet Nicole Fae — The Woman Behind the Mission.
I’m Nicole Fae, and for over 20 years, I’ve built my career around helping women feel confident, capable, and empowered — whether through beauty, business, or mentorship.
My journey began as a makeup artist, where I discovered that transformation goes far beyond the mirror. The right touch of artistry can spark something deeper — confidence, courage, and a renewed sense of self-worth. As my career grew, so did my passion for mentorship and education, leading me to become a beauty educator and business coach dedicated to helping others succeed.
Today, I serve as the President of The Annex, an organization that uplifts beauty professionals through mentorship, business training, and community-building. I also partner with nonprofits like Dress for Success, helping women gain the tools, confidence, and financial literacy they need to achieve independence and create meaningful change in their lives. Through my platform, She Owns It, I advocate for women’s empowerment, leadership, and self-belief — reminding every woman that she is worthy of success and capable of building a life she loves.
But beyond the professional titles, I’m also a wife and mother, learning daily how to balance family and purpose. My greatest motivation has always been showing my children what it means to lead with kindness, integrity, and service.
I believe deeply in the power of community and connection — bringing people, small businesses, and organizations together to strengthen and celebrate the place we call home. Whether through my work in beauty, business, or service, my mission is simple: to uplift others, inspire confidence, and create spaces where everyone feels they belong.

As President of The Annex, I lead an organization dedicated to helping beauty professionals thrive — not just creatively, but financially and professionally.
Through mentorship, business training, and continuing education, we give artists the tools to build sustainable careers and strong communities. The Annex is more than a network; it’s a movement that celebrates connection, growth, and confidence within the beauty industry.
Dress for Success: Confidence Through Opportunity
My work with Dress for Success allows me to help women rebuild their lives and careers with dignity and confidence.
From career workshops to makeup and self-presentation sessions, I love supporting women as they step into new roles — empowering them with the tools, wardrobe, and belief that they already have what it takes to succeed.
Community Leadership & Volunteerism
Service extends beyond my professional world — it’s a value I share with my family. Whether I’m coordinating volunteer makeup artists for Flashes of Hope, organizing donation drives for Simpson Housing, or serving as part of local youth programs like ERAA Tennis, I believe in showing up where help is needed most.
These experiences remind me that leadership begins with kindness, and that even the smallest act of service can create lasting change.
Connecting Community & Business
One of my greatest joys is helping connect people and businesses that share a mission to uplift others. Whether through sponsorship, collaboration, or local events, I love being part of initiatives that strengthen Minnesota’s sense of pride, unity, and purpose.

A Symbol of Strength & Uniqueness
Because every woman — like every snowflake — is one of a kind.
The snowflake has always been a meaningful symbol for me — a reminder that no two women, paths, or dreams are ever the same.
I created the Snowflake Necklace to celebrate individuality, confidence, and community — values that reflect not only my journey as a wife, mother, and leader, but also my deep connection to Minnesota’s Winter Carnival spirit.
Each necklace represents the beauty of being unique, resilient, and one of a kind, just like the women who wear them.
Proceeds from this piece will directly support my personal goals of running for the 2026 Queen of the Snows, helping me self-fund transportation, attire, and community outreach as I pursue this opportunity to represent our state with pride and purpose.
This necklace isn’t just a symbol — it’s a way to join me in celebrating confidence, kindness, and connection while helping me share that same spirit throughout Minnesota and beyond.
